The cost of living is higher in Paris than elsewhere in France. As a student, however, you will be entitled to special discounts (transport pass, swimming pool, sport, museums, shows, university restaurant, etc.).
You must be able to prove that you have financial resources of at least €450 per month for the duration of your stay to obtain a student visa.
You should note, however, that you will need at least €900 to €1000 per month if you are to enjoy reasonable living conditions in Paris.
Transport

Metro, RER, bus, tramway, Vélib' (bicycle)... You will find an important choice of means of transportation in Paris.
You need to buy a Transport Card that cost approximatively 330€ a year (70€ per month if you are more than 26). This gives you access to the Metro/RER/tramway/buses from 6am to 2am and specific discounts (theatre, cinema, museum, restaurant, shopping).
With more than 300 metro/RER stations, it is very simple and fast to get around Paris and the suburbs to see tourist sites (Château de Versailles, DisneyLand Paris...). We particularly recommend using Velib', a self-service bike system available 24 hours a day, all year round. To access the service, buy a 1-day or a 7-day ticket online or at any Vélib’ station or sign-up for a long-term subscription.
It will cost you around 10-15€ for 10 kilometres if you choose taxis : the network is well developed.

Meals
We do not provide any meals plan, we simply have microwaves, coffee machines and a vending machine in our cafeteria.
However Paris is renowned for its food, most students enjoy preparing homemade meals with typical products from France.
HEAD Law School is located in the heart of the 10th district which is popular for the local restaurants (french and foreign cultures) and take-away shops (you will easily find what you like for 5-15€). Enjoy a large choice of cafeteria, boulangeries, brasseries Parisiennes.
